Money for nothing and the drinks are free

Why do some people like casino gambling when the odds are never in your favor? It's sort of like being scammed, except you willingly choose it.

Skinner's work on intermittent reinforcement might explain slot machines. Random rewards increase the likelihood of repeating a behavior more than being rewarded every time or punishment. (Parents: please take note.)

Or is it brain chemistry? Pathological gambling can be triggered by dopamine agonist medication used to treat Parkinson's disease and Restless Leg Syndrome.

Question: Could people who enjoy gambling be more susceptible to scamming, due to impulsivity or willingness to take risks?
Answer: Want to make a bet?
