Michaele and Tareq Salahi will be interviewed Tuesday morning on NBC's Today Show. NBC Universal also owns Bravo, the network that will run an upcoming reality show, The Real Housewives of DC, that the couple hopes to be a part of.
Although rumor was that the couple was seeking payment for any interviews about the incident, NBC has insisted that "no money changed hands."
Authorities learned that the couple had crashed a dinner at the White House after Michaele posted photos of the event to her Facebook page.
On Monday, the Salahi's revealed that senior Pentagon official Michele Jones had communicated to them that they were able to come to the event, but she denies letting them in.
"I specifically stated that they did not have tickets and in fact that I did not have the authority to authorize attendance, admittance or access to any part of the evening's activities," Jones said. "Even though I informed them of this, they still decided to come."
It was also learned that the this isn't the first time the Salahi's have crashed a political party. A month ago, they sneaked through a back entrance to a Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Awards dinner in which President Obama spoke. When a guest complained that the couple didn't belong at his table, a foundation representative checked his guest list and escorted them out.
House Homeland Security Committee has also asked the Salahi's, Secret Service Director Mark Sullivan, and White House Social Secretary Desiree Rogers to testify on Thursday regarding the November 24 incident.
