Better at keeping kids in placeIn Eugene Oregon a teacher has been suspended for taping an unruly child to his desk. The Oakridge teacher has predictably been suspended. What's up with teachers? End of the school year have them at wits end?  Or are they trying to one up each other in some secret underground society.

The boy who was taped to his chair said that he just sat down in his desk and the teacher came over and started taping him down.  He continued to say, "What are you doing?" Which if translated means, "Masking tape couldn't stop a hamster from getting out of this chair let alone a strapping young lad like myself."

Don't believe me?  Check out the news video of the incident here.

Is it the kids or the teachers? Are they all tired and on each others last nerves? I mean there was this substitute teacher, just a couple weeks ago, who got into a fist fight with one of her students...and yes a student in the class caught the whole incident on their cell phone.

What does this mean for the parents and this upcoming summer vacation?  Tape, Survivor style votes forcing preschoolers to fend for themselves?  Stay tuned.
