What Traits Moms Associate with Good Dads
As I relentlessly make my way through the internet, checking parenting news headlines, mom and dad blogs all while leaving a trail of comments behind, I, on occasion, come across a noteworthy piece that reflects some very important ideals that I associate with fatherhood and parenting in general for that matter. This past Friday I came across such a post at the parenting/fatherhood blog website entitled
Discovering Dad. Jeremy Neal, the author and creator of the blog, does a number of creative and worth reading series. From the series entitled Spotlight on Dads, where Neal interviews dads from across the net who blog about their experiences in fatherhood, to the more recent series entitled "What Moms Really Think," where Neal takes a "behind the scenes" look at the candid thoughts of some mom bloggers, Neal has begun to make a name for himself in the parenting blogging community. The last post in this latest series takes a look at
what traits moms associate with good dads. I found this last installment in his series to be particularly important because, although the moms were all interviewed separately, the moms all came up with very similar answers to what they consider to be important traits in a good dad. So, take some time and get acquainted with
what moms think make a good dad. Happy trails!
