Nebraska is no different from the rest of the country when it comes to stray, abandoned and abused animals. Think back over the last few days. How many loose dogs and cats have you seen? Chances are, quite a few. What we never know is if they are lost, simply let out for a while or abandoned.
Nebraska winters are tough on everyone, but imagine being an animal who has been abandoned and is searching for warmth and shelter. He or she is probably afraid, cold and hungry.
Take Brody here for example: Brody is a very handsome, solid liver GSP. He is very happy to be out of the shelter and shows it by wagging his nub constantly.
He is heartworm negative, neutered and up to date on all of vaccinations. He is not gun shy and has great hunting potential. Brody is a Purebred and is already neutered. He is also good with other dogs and current on all shots.
Brody (and other dogs) are at the GSP rescue and you can contact them for more information about Brody. His I.D. number is 1195076. The website is: http://www.gspnebraska.org.
Give Brody or one of the other great German Shorthaired Pointers a shot at happiness and tell them the Omaha Pet Rescue Examiner Sent you!
Until Next time...
