In my earlier article, Poker anyone, poker run, that is, I gave you all the details on the upcoming Poker Run to benefit neglected and abused horses.
The event was scheduled for March 15, 2009. Due to a high likelihood of rain from Thursday - Sunday, USERL-CP organizers have proactively rescheduled the event to Sunday, April 5.
Safety for horses and riders is ALWAYS a primary concern for USERL. Additionally, organizers want this to be a fun, family event. Muddy, slippery trails would not provide either a safe or fun environment.
