The H1N1 Virus

Although the State of Colorado ordered 185,000 H1N1 vaccinations, only 50,000 arrived.   This means if you're not in the health care industry, you will find these vaccinations extremely difficult, if not impossible, to come by, even if you have a chronic medical condition that makes you more vulnerable to the disease.

You can also call 877-462-2911 to find out if you qualify and if you don't, you'll simply need to wait patiently. 

In the meantime, try and take common sense precautionary measures like covering your mouth when you sneeze, avoiding close contact with people who have the flu and refraining from rubbing your eyes. It is also important to wash your hands frequently.
