It's hard to find something not to love about a ranch offering sunrise and sunset horseback rides, horsemanship camps for adults and children and year round carriage rides.  Its gets better, though.

The DTR guides are attentive to the horses needs, comfort and overall well being.  They go out of their way to ensure their horses' personalities are compatible with those of their riders and make an active effort to be attentive to everyone's learning processes throughout.

This  EPA Award for Responsible Development & Historic Preservation recipient is committed to only building on about 80 acres.  The rest of their 5000 acres of wilderness is preserved for the elk, deer, moose, trout, coyote and fox populations.

Devil's Thumb Ranch's Autumn specials start at $189 a night and include breakfast for two.
