Mya is ready to take home the mirror ball trophy on tonight's season finale of 'Dancing with the Stars'. After finishing with 87 out of 90 points with her partner Dmitry Chaplin, she believes she will finish as first place this season. Mya says she "hasn't worked this hard for this long not to win this thing... that trophy is mine!"
Donny Osmond finished in second place last night with 85 out of 90 points. He and partner Kym Johnson earned 30 points for their Broadway inspired free style routine, but only 27 for their cha-cha and 28 points during the megamix challenge. On a positive note, Judge Len Goodman referred to their Broadway freestyle routine as "an absolute show stopper!"
Osmond confirmed that he still wants to take the mirror ball trophy "badly". There's some sibling rivalry going on with his sister, Marie Osmond, who was in a previous season of 'Dancing with the Stars' and also made it to the finals.
I want this mirrorball [trophy] so badly... because if you had a sister named Marie and she was going to rub it in your face your whole life, you'd want to win too!
Kelly Osbourne and partner Louis Van Amstel finished third with 76 points out of 90. They earned 26 points for their Argentine tango and megamix performance and 24 for their freestyle dance to 'I Will Survive'. Osbourne said she'd exceeded her own expectations on the ABC show.
I didn't think that I really could do it, but this was my opportunity to show people that I have grown up. Every single dance we've done so far in the competition has been such a learning process and an adventure for me. I never thought we were going to get this far, but I'm so glad we did.
