Via Baci is a hidden gem of an Italian eatery that will gain your local following after one meal. Hidden because it's location is not readily obvious from any main streets but if you happen to shop at the Target on Yosemite and Lincoln you might have seen it. One doesn't expect mozzarella made fresh daily nor San Marzano tomatoes to be ingredients in a restaurant located in a strip mall but you will be pleasantly surprised.

Their pizzas are prepared in an 800º wood-fired oven that cooks everything up super fast and the pizza is just wonderful. This Bianca Pizza features: oven roasted chicken, fresh tomatoes, goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes, fresh basil, roasted garlic, olive oil and a touch of red pepper flakes to give it a little zip. The crust is thin but not hard so you "almost" feel like you are eating something healthy.. but it tastes too good for that to be true. Eat the pizza there as the crust doesn't travel well.
Let’s talk Wine! Via Baci has a nice selection of wine to accompany your meals including 4 different Pino Grigio’s which pair wonderfully with Italian food if you haven't expanded your palet to red wines yet. Stop by on a Tuesday or Thursday for 50% off wine after 5 p.m.
