Frank Furino will speak to the Palm Springs Women in Film and Television luncheon on November, 14th.
Check-in time is at 10:45 a.m., with the luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at the beautiful Miramonte Resort located at 45000 Indian Wells Lane in Indian Wells. Admission is $35.00 for members and $50.00. for non members and reservations are required.
His topic, "The Write Stuff", will guide attendees through the basic elements of creative writing for a book, screenplay or television script. His credits as a writer/producer include "Dynasty"," Dallas", "Falcon Crest", "Flamingo Road" and "General Hospital". For a time, he worked at ABC with the likes of Peter Jennings, Ted Koppel, Howard Cosell and Barbara Walters.
Today, he is the president and co-founder of Furino/Greene Creative, one of the most successful marketing and public relations agencies in the Coachella Valley.
The Palm Springs association has monthly luncheons, which attract many luminaries. October's guest was the multi-talented Kaye Ballard, star of stage screen and television.
