What happens when a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter gets in the octagon with a former NFL player? Dave "Pay Me" Yost will find out at the MMA event Art of Fighting (AOF) 6 this Sunday in Estero, Fla., when he faces Brian Fuery, who used to play football for the Miami Hurricanes.

The MMA match against Yost will be Fuery's second professional fight after debuting at Shine Fights 2 last September. Yost, on the other, hand, has a professional fight record of five wins and one loss with a strong background in boxing.

In accordance with the event theme Season's Beatings these two heavyweights will no doubt try to pummel each other any way they can. Although Fuery has less experience than Yost, he has been training with Team Pablo Popovitch, which is a very successful MMA camp in Florida with emphasis on Brazilian jiu jitsu.

Yost is not the most technical fighter but he has a powerful right hand that can he likes to put to good use in a stand-up battle as much as during his ground game. His skill set also includes kickboxing and jiu jitsu which makes him a well-rounded fighter with a preference for striking.

Fuery will most likely try to win this match against Yost on the ground where he can shine with his jiu jitsu skills. Yost will certainly look for a slug fest and a quick knockout.
