Winter time calls for hot cocoa, but for some, hot cocoa made with milk is not an option.  If you are dairy free, you can still have hot cocoa.

Simply use a dairy free milk like Rice Dream, So Delicious Coconut Milk, or Soy milk.  Heat on a medium low heat and add dairy free chocolate syrup, add 1 tsp. organic vanilla flavor and stevia to sweeten.

Make sure you use no more than 4 drops of Stevia per cup if you are using the liquid type.  Sprinkle with nutmeg just before serving.

A favorite is So Delicious Dairy Free Coconut Milk, sweetened.  It is absolutely So Delicious!  If you use the sweetened coconut milk you do not need to add any stevia.
