Free Spore Things

A behind the scenes look at Spore's creation.
My ongoing fascination with Spore continues, fueled in large part by the endlessly fascinating things that the Spore team has done to promote their game.

Most recently, they have release Biome and ParticleMan, two tech demos created during the creation of the game.

You'd probably need a degree in computer science or maybe orbital mechanics to really figure out how to use these game-like interactive toys. Or you can just load the demo code and watch them make pretty pictures on the screen.

Will this help you enjoy Spore more later, once it launches? Probably not. Is this one of the coolest glimpses into the the creation of blockbuster game title?

You bet

Spore: Available September 7th, 2008 for Mac and PC.
