Sure, more and more girls play videogames than ever before. That doens't stop guys from complaining that they can't get their ladies interested in videogames.

Really, maybe you're just not trying hard enough.

If science can be trusted in these matters, here's the latest findings from the Girlfriend Gamer Love Lab (GiGLL) , detailing the top reasons girlfiends don't play videogames with boyfriends:

1.       You keep beating her at Super Smash Bros. Brawl (And then doing that stupid victory dance your friends think is funny.)

2.       She really isn’t interested in stopping the terrorists who have taken over Las Vegas. In fact, she doesn’t even like Las Vegas.

3.       She keeps telling you that she wants to play drums in Rock Band, and you keep telling her, “Girls have to play bass.”

4.       Despite all your well-made points, playing Halo 3 co-op over Xbox Live really isn’t a substitute for a Friday night dinner and a movie.

5.       Telling her, “If only you played videogames, you’d be the perfect girlfriend”, is, in fact, the wrong thing to say.
