This application is basically a wrapper for the AT&T account web page, but it's navigation is optimized for the iPhone and streamlined. After an individual's phone number and password are entered, they are taken to a simple screen directing them to areas where they can check current usage (both data and voice), pay their bill, and view their current features (such as texting and anytime minutes). There isn't anything earth-shattering about this app, but it really makes managing a wireless account very convenient.

Just like the myWireless app, the Facebook application is basically a wrapper for the popular website, but with some iPhone optimizations. Viewing the friend feed and browsing through photos feels very smooth and is a nice alternative to the mobile version of the site.

I personally think that Mint.com was one of the best things to come out of the Web 2.0 movement. Mint is a completely online and free way to manage all of your finances. It gives you account balances, budgeting options, spending trends and alerts, and bill reminders. Since Mint is free, they pay the bills by showing users ads. But unlike traditional advertisements, these are specifically targeted to save the user money and are accompanied by the exact dollar amounts the user will save.
