A grassroots examination of how to deal with folks everyday using Emotional Intelligence.

If you live on planet Earth, you probably have to deal with people. People who agree with you, people who don't agree with you, and people who don't like you, period.

Now, more than ever, mastering the art of everyday human management makes going to work and living life a lot easier. The goal of my articles are to share wisdom about how to effectively deal with people using Emotional Intelligence (or known as EI).

Emotional intelligence (EI) is the area of cognitive ability involving traits and social skills that facilitate interpersonal behavior. Intelligence can be broadly defined as the capacity for goal-oriented adaptive behavior; emotional intelligence focuses on the aspects of intelligence that govern self-knowledge and social adaptation.

Did you know that today companies worldwide routinely look through the lens of Emotional Intelligence in hiring, promoting, and developing their employees? Johnson and Johnson found that in divisions around the world, those identified at mid career as having high leadership potential were far stronger in EI competencies than were their less-promising peers.

Every posted topic will be explained in a down-to-earth language that everybody can easily understand. Every scenario and bit of wisdom will be insightful advice that everyone can use in their work and personal life.

Emotional Intelligence isn't reserved for some. Emotional Intelligence is a learned trait and anyone can learn it.

Topics to look forward to:
How do great leaders deal with people?
Effective techniques for dealing with people.
Why criticizing someone won't get you anywhere.
How to get anybody to do anything for you.
Do you even have a clue how other people are feeling?
Why people get offended.
...and much more

Until next time:

"The most important single ingredient in the formula of success is knowing how to get along with people." - Theodore Roosevelt
