Begin with a choice of salads or an assortment of appetizers from the barbecued shrimp of the Kushi Yaki-Ebi for seafood lovers, to the skewers of barbecued beef of the Yaki-Beef or deep-fried pork of the Kushikatsu for meat lovers. Vegetarians are sure to enjoy the deep-fried tofu of the Agedashi Tofu, and those who wish to sample sushi will enjoy the Chef’s Sashimi Selection of freshly sliced raw fish.
The sushi bar itself is famous for a good reason. Offering over sixty different preparations of sushi and sashimi, Nara displays its fresh fish before its diners, ranging from Tuna, Salmon, Blue Fin, Scallop, Squid, Mackerel, red clam and much, much more. The Eel Tempura Roll is a delicious signature dish at Nara, made with fried tempura shrimp and topped with eel and Nara’s special eel sauce. Another favorite is the Volcano Roll, a California roll made with spicy tuna and crispy topping.
Diners who are looking for something other than raw seafood are sure to find a delicious dish in the lunch and diner menus. The Teriyaki dishes offer a wide assortment of choices from beef to chicken and salmon. The Black Cod Kasuzuke is a famous Nara dish marinated in sake paste and broiled.
