The menu is rich, offering much more than seafood and sushi, from a wide array of traditional Japanese fare, famous for its fresh ingredients. All entrees are served with miso soup, rice and Sunomono, a Japanese cucumber salad.

Begin with a choice of salads or an assortment of appetizers from the barbecued shrimp of the Kushi Yaki-Ebi for seafood lovers, to the skewers of barbecued beef of the Yaki-Beef or deep-fried pork of the Kushikatsu for meat lovers. Vegetarians are sure to enjoy the deep-fried tofu of the Agedashi Tofu, and those who wish to sample sushi will enjoy the Chef’s Sashimi Selection of freshly sliced raw fish.

The sushi bar itself is famous for a good reason. Offering over sixty different preparations of sushi and sashimi, Nara displays its fresh fish before its diners, ranging from Tuna, Salmon, Blue Fin, Scallop, Squid, Mackerel, red clam and much, much more. The Eel Tempura Roll is a delicious signature dish at Nara, made with fried tempura shrimp and topped with eel and Nara’s special eel sauce. Another favorite is the Volcano Roll, a California roll made with spicy tuna and crispy topping.

Diners who are looking for something other than raw seafood are sure to find a delicious dish in the lunch and diner menus. The Teriyaki dishes offer a wide assortment of choices from beef to chicken and salmon. The Black Cod Kasuzuke is a famous Nara dish marinated in sake paste and broiled. Another famous Nara dish is the Gyoza, made with pan-fried beef, pork and vegetable dumplings. And the Combination dishes offer a selection of several items together for a more exotic fare, like the Chicken Teriyaki Combo with tempura or gyoza, or the Beef Teriyaki Combo with tempura or gyoza.

For noodle lovers, preparations of stir-fried noodles await you, served with seafood, chicken or beef in a variety of fresh Japanese recipes. And for rice lovers, the Unaju is a famous Nara dish, made with barbecued eel served over rice.
