Teenage boy allegedly raped in middle school locker room
According to a report on tampabay.com, a 13-year-old boy was allegedly raped by four others on April 30 in the locker room at Walker Middle School in Tampa. The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office says the boy was raped with a broomstick handle and a hockey stick. The accused rapists are identified as Randall John Moye, 14, Raymond A. Price-Murray, 14, Lee Louis Myers, 14 and Diamante J. Roberts, 15. The four were arrested at the school on Wednesday after being identified by the victim.
According to deputies, two suspects held the victim down on the ground while the other two sexually battered him. Sheriff’s spokeswoman Vida Morgan said the teens continually harassed and picked on the victim between March 15 and May 5 of this year.
Hillsborough Schools spokesman Stephen Hegarty said the school was investigating another bullying incident Tuesday involving the victim when they learned of the rape.
"What I'm told by the principal is that we learned there was a bullying incident Tuesday after school," Hegarty said. "That's what we were involved in Wednesday when some of these details came out.”
Assistant State Attorney Pam Bondi said the four will be charged as adults.
