You are a single man or woman. You’ve got everything you’ve worked for -- a successful business, a beautiful home, good friends. The only thing that’s missing from your “perfect” life is someone with which to share it all. But who has time to meet the right person? Of course there are the local watering holes and evening hot spots, but that’s not good enough. You want to meet the right person and don’t want to spend a whole lot of time “interviewing candidates.”
That’s where Svetlana of Svetlana International comes in. She is an honest-to-goodness Beverly Hills matchmaker who literally makes it her business to find people their soul mates. Originally a real estate professional with a psychology degree from her native Russia, Svetlana opened her company 11 years ago, because she “loves people and loves making introductions.”
“When someone comes to me, they usually are ready for a committed relationship. They are tired of the bar scene and meeting the wrong kinds of people,” she notes.
Relying on her skills in psychology, Svetlana spends time intimately interviewing prospects, getting to know their personality traits in order to find the perfect match. “So many dating services out there hire assistants, many who don’t even know the clientele. How can you connect the right people if you don’t know who they are?” Svetlana states. “I truly get to know these people one-on-one. I have to like and care about them before I can make recommendations.”
Svetlana explains that men hire her services based on a one-year contract. “I will only take men who are committed and emotionally ready to find a relationship,” she says. “They are also successful, independent, and financially stable as well as kind, respectful and fun!”
Single women are invited to join a free membership but also undergo a screening process. “The reason I don’t charge women is because, firstly, they generally make less money than their male counterparts. Secondly, I feel it’s like an attorney representing both parties. This is a more honest approach,” she says.
In addition to matchmaking services, Svetlana International offers elegant soirees, held at clients’ homes throughout the Beverly Hills area. “I feel this is a wonderful way for my clients and members to meet each other. After all, I know who’s coming. I make sure the right matches are in attendance,” she asserts. “This is also a fun and comfortable way for people to get to know one another.”
Svetlana boasts an 80% success rate and says she is invited to lots of weddings. “It is very rewarding to hear from clients who tell me, ‘Oh, Svetlana, thank you. I am so happy!’” she says. “Successful people often surround themselves with a team to handle their tasks. Why shouldn’t they hire someone to take care of their personal lives?”
