In honor of active and retired military members, Copper Mountain announced it is joining with two other Colorado Intrawest Resorts to offer the special Patriot Pass for the 2009-2010 winter season.
The Patriot Pass was introduced last year in an effort to make snow sports more affordable for military families and provides active and retired military members and their families with unlimited access to skiing and snowboarding at Copper Mountain and Winter Park with the option to add limited access to Steamboat. The pass is $219 for adults and $104 for children of military members. For an additional $20, military members can opt to purchase the Patriot Pass Plus, which provides an extra 6 days at Steamboat and unlimited Friday afternoons after 12:30 p.m. Patriot Pass holders can also purchase ten $55 Friends and Family lift tickets to Copper Mountain and Winter Park any time during the season by showing their pass at the ticket window.
If you are an active or retired member of the military, you can purchase the Patriot Pass by showing your Department of Defense Military ID card at the Colorado military base locations below. Once you've purchased the Patriot Pass, you can redeem it at the pass office at either Copper Mountain or Winter Park any time during the 2009-2010 season.
