International Festival

The Fort Bend Education Foundation is hosting their 4th annual International Festival today, November 7th, 2009, at the Sugar Land Town Square from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  The Fort Bend Independent School District educates children from many different cultures.  This is a great opportunity to come out and enjoy food, arts and traditions from 16 countries around the world.

Entertainment will be provided by talented FBISD students as well as by some of the Sugar Land area dance and music programs.  Area restaurants will have samplings of their wonderful international dishes.

Students will receive goody bags at the booths and will receive a "passport" for their visits to each country.  Children will be able to play with games and toys from other countries at the Dress Up and Learn and Play booths.

The International Festival is a great learning experience for children and adults alike.  Head over and sample some great food, be entertained, and enjoy learning about other cultures.
