As Secretary of State Hillary Clinton landed in Pakistan, at least eighty people, many of them women, were killed in a massive market bombing attack in Peshawar, in the country's northwest.

The bombing occurred in a women's market at a time when, according to the AP, the Taliban have warned Pakistan that are ready and willing to stage more attacks if the country's army does not end an offensive in South Waziristan tribal region.
