Tracy Morgan, Alex Baldwin, Tina Fey, Jane Krakowski and Jack Brayer of 30 Rock
With season 4 on 30 Rock, Liz Lemon [Tina Fey] is petitioned by Jack Donaghy [Alex Baldwin] to find a new cast member, one who will appeal to the general audience of TGS, to replace Jenna and Tracy. While liz and , sneak around and lie to employees to do as instructed, Jack is accosted by Kenneth who's in the midst of a page strike, due to him being coreced to falsify his overtime to supplant Jack's bonus.
Liz also tackles the task of balancing friendships with the release of her first book based on dealbreakers in relationships. When Angie [Sheri Shepherd] puts Tracy in the doghouse because of Liz's book advice, Tracy moves into Liz and turns it into a dog shelter until he can find a way to balance out the drama Liz has brought to his life. In order to get Tracy out of her house, Liz agrees to give her life rights to Tracy and climb down into the 'darkness'.
Of course by the end of episode two Liz's plan solves all the problems she has with the cast and her friends through her resolution with Tracy. The Emmy Award-winning comedy "30 Rock" is created and executive produced by Golden Globe winner Tina Fey and features Golden Globe winner Alec Baldwin
as a top network executive and Tracy Morgan as one of the stars of the fictional variety show, "TGS with Tracy Jordan."
Rounding out the cast are Jane Krakowski ("Jenna Maroney") as the co-star of "TGS"; Scott Adsit ("Pete Hornberger") as the variety show's producer; Jack McBrayer ("Kenneth the Page") as the loveable NBC page; Judah Friedlander ("Frank") a writer, Katrina Bowden ("Cerie") as Liz's assistant; and Keith Powell ("Toofer") Harvard-alum writer.
Tina Fey makes the long hours spent writing, collaborating and on set of being a TV writer, appear sassy, glamourous and fun; at least on TV.
