There was a time when the only [talked about] hit show revolving around the city of Dallas, was the series, Dallas. You JR Ewing fans know what all about that.  With the Style Network's unleashing of Dallas Divas, looks like history has made a full circle.

As cameras follow the daily lives of the socialites and debutantes living from some of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Dallas-Fort Worth, viewers get to look into the lives of the Dallas Elite, a little closer to home. The mother/daughter relationships of the show is hampered by shopping sprees, gossip and keeping up appearances, viewers may get to see another Paris Hilton type rising-starlet from the Big D.

The five mother/daughter storylines are: the respected Cindy and her outgoing daughter Courtney; self-made Pamela and her popular daughter Hannah; stylist Kenya and her spoiled and fiesty daughter Chanel; Patricia and her fashionista daughter Jacky; and independently wealthy Brenda and her daughter Laura.

Seven episodes into the series, Dallas Divas, is already on the tips of everyone's tongue and looks like the Style Network has it's own guilty pleasure. If you're tired of reality TV and haven't developed an taste in shows like the Rich Housewives of Atlanta then Dallas Divas may not suit your palette.

Produced by Alison Grodner Productions and the Style Network.  Dallas Divas airs Sundays!
