The Capital Group Cos. top the IT list.
Computerworld has weighed with its list of the best places to work if you're in information technology.

The Capital Group Cos. of Los Angeles tops the list, at least partly because the company contributes an amount of up to 15 percent of an employee's annual compensation into a retirement account.

Online mortgage company Quicken Loans (Livonia, Mich.) is at No. 2; it offers interest-free loans of up to $2,500 to workers so they can purchase (or upgrade) their home computer. The loans are paid back over two years out of payroll deductions.

You can find the Top 100 list here.

For more info: OK, Computerworld lists the best places to work for IT specialists, but how about the best places to work regardless of your specialty? Fortune's 2008 best companies to work for can be found here, and it's interesting to note that Google (perhaps the ultimate IT company) is No. 1. At No. 2 is Quicken Loans. Sound familiar?
