Childs' play - San Francisco IT worker held network keys

The dark side of computing was highlighted this week.
But when San Francisco authorities said a 43-year-old worker employee named Terry Childs took that city's network hostage and refused to relinquish control, it was all too real.
Here's some background on the case. City officials took issue with Childs' attorney's statement that it was all a "big misunderstanding."
"The only thing we've heard from pub(lic) defenders' office is that he loves kittens," said the city's Department of Technology deputy chief Ron Vinson.
