Remote Control Beer Cooler Headed This Way!

My sources say this Remote Control Drinks Cooler will be available in the U.S. later this month. It's currently available on the Firebox.com Web site in the United Kingdom (so if you're in London at the moment, good for you).
It's not R2D2, but for some folks this robot is even better. According to Firebox, the battery-operated cooler can hold a 12-pack and ice, and the handheld transmitter (shaped like a bottle cap - it's at the lower left of the photo) can send the cooler moving up to 30 feet away. What fun at a deck or pool party, eh? Gizmodo says the cooler will be available from Solutions on May 23 for $69.95, and from Firebox in the U.S. on May 28 for $78.30. |
