Nikon D700 update

June 30, 5:34 PM
by Darrell Proctor, Business Examiner

The Nikon D700 has become a worst-kept secret. (ProfiFoto)
A German magazine has given us another glimpse of the much-anticipated Nikon D700 camera.

ProfiFoto has a spread in the Technik section of its latest issue (check it out at Gizmodo Australia here).

Here's another place to read about it.

Chasing the status of the D700 has become quite the game for Web techies - latest word is that the camera will be officially unveiled Tuesday (as in July 1, as in tomorrow).

The word last week was that the camera would come out today (as in June 30).

And the photos circulating last week are now said to be fake (and, judging from the photo at right, that's correct).

So is ProfiFoto right? Maybe we'll find out today.
