It's one of the top secrets in corporate America.

And it's being moved as part of an effort to revamp security around its hiding place.

Kentucky Fried Chicken today said it is temporarily relocating Colonel Harland Sanders' handwritten recipe of 11 herbs and spices. It was moved from its home of many years earlier today, placed in a lock box that was handcuffed to a security guard who then climbed into an armored car that took off with a police escort.

Whew!

It all went down at the company's headquarters in Louisville, Ky.

Did you know? The Original Recipe for KFC's chicken is so well-guarded that only two company executives have access to it at any time. It's stored away in a vault with two combination locks. And it's written in pencil.
