A Fun Mother's Day Gadget? Our Lady Of The Trunk

May 11, 1:26 PM
by Darrell Proctor, Business Examiner

Here's a way to let others know they'd best get out of the way - you're backing up your vehicle.

And it's better than the usual beep-beep-beep. Our Lady Of The Trunk (American Science & Surplus, $7.95) sends out a 100-decibel feminine voice, telling all within earshot that you're moving in reverse.

You wire the speaker to your brake lights and mount the speaker on the trunk (I'm guessing this would look better on a truck or SUV than a car, but you can be the judge).
