Is the iPod about to get another makeover?
Apple has an event scheduled Tuesday, and the invitation shows a silhouette of a dancing man with an iPod.
It's titled "Let's Rock." And while Apple hasn't said much about Tuesday's event, the company has a history of gatherings in late summer or early fall to introduce its new products - including redesigned iPods.
Those launches are timed to coincide with the start of the holiday shopping season, which seemingly has no real season - except maybe year-round - anymore.
Meanwhile, there's plenty of buzz around Tuesday's event, and some folks aren't all that excited. Let's see what Steve Jobs has to say next week.
