A rescue team attempts to free a whale entangled

Strange bedfellows? Perhaps. But the International Fund for Animal Welfare and the NOAA Fisheries Service are teaming up to help save whales.

One technology involves coded wire tags in fishing line. The other is a system for tracking the location of fishing gear.
