Peter Gabriel - a tech-driven musician.
If you recall Peter Gabriel's breakthrough videos on MTV - Shock the Monkey, Sledgehammer (check it out below), et al - it should come as no surprise that the veteran rocker has been at the technological forefront of the music industry.
This New York Times article talks about how Gabriel has been involved in HDTV, interactive CDs, and now is behind some well-received Internet ventures involving music and multimedia.
Gabriel came on board as an investor in OD2 in 1999. His newest ventures are We7 and TheFilter.com.
