Disneyland hopes to remain a vacation destination.

This is not your father's Disneyland.

Nope, the house of Mouse in California is looking to new attractions to get people in the door, as rising gas prices and skyrocketing airfares make more Americans think twice about whether to take a vacation - and where to go.

Disney has unveiled the Innoventions Dream Home at Disneyland, a futuristic home straight out of the Jetsons.

And Disney's California Adventure has launched a carnival games ride based on the Toy Story movie.

The Toy Story ride is the second at the park based on a Pixar film; Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue, based on Monsters, Inc., opened last year.

The park also is planning a ride based on Pixar's popular Cars movie.

The Innoventions Dream Home, part of Tomorrowland, looks at high-tech gadgets available for today's homes - as in available, if not necessarily in widespread use.
