I've seen lots of great gadgets over the years, but I'm always on the lookout for those that combine cool with practicality.
And as someone who grew up fishing, I can appreciate anything that adds to an angler's enjoyment.
Enter the ESPN Fishin' Forecast. It delivers National Weather Service information to your mobile phone, anywhere in the continental United States.
Of course, the Fishin' Forecast is useful for anyone who spends lots of time on outdoor activities - camping, biking, hiking, even skiing. You can learn more about it here.
A quick FYI - Fishin' Forecast is a partnership of ESPN and Garmin, and Garmin currently is doing a beta test of its My-Cast weather product for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Check that out here.
