You can make money for your business through Affiliate Marketing programs.

Many people think affiliate programs are not very good, but they are if you are detemined and put in work. They work differently than Adwords or Adsense. Adwords and Adsense, you have to pay monthly just to be able to keep your keywords posted and send people to your sight. Affiliate programs work the opposite. When you join an affiliate program, the membership is FREE. Affiliate programs have a large list of businesses that would like to be advertised on your website. You apply to become an affiliate of their company (publisher). You make a percentage of money (each company differs) when someone clicks on to their site from your website and buys something. It sounds impossible, because there are many websites floating around the internet, what makes you think someone is going to go to yours. Well, the key is links, links, links.
You need to put as many links onto your site as possible. The links are ad banners and html's that gets the person from your site to the other. One of the rules to becoming an affiliate, you must not have their sites on any type of adult or pornography site. Adult sites have their own adult affiliate programs. Your site must be clean, family oriented, or business savvy. Putting many links on your site, gets people searching. People are curious. When they read the content of the original site, if you have many links, it becomes an eye catcher, and that web searcher now becomes curious about what else you have to offer. Holiday season is now here, putting links on your site geared towards toys, gifts, children, sales and coupons, travel, airfare, hotels, will get them coming. You can make money on your website through affiliate programs. Make sure you have multiple links and hundreds of (legal) keywords (search engine) to gear people towards your site.
There is no selling, no cold calling, no mail advertising. Everything goes straight to the company, they supply, ship, and answer questions. The only thing you do is sit back and watch the money come into your account. You send your friends and family to these sites by having them visit yours etc., but there is not much effort except keeping sales and new banners ads current. Affiliate programs are the new online marketing. It offers low risk to its publishers (independent parties that promote the products/services on their website). Companies pay for only those who sign up for newsletter and/or purchase. It must result in a sale and/or lead. It is a win-win or lose-lose for both sides at the same time.
Some of the companies which offer affiliate program marketing is www.commissionjunction.com. CJ has a host of companies to choose from. Some companies may decline your application for various reasons, but don't get discouraged. Apply for many, half may decline, but the other half accepts. Another site that I am familiar with is www.prosperitymarketingsystem.com. PMS offers affiliate programs through your website as well. If you don't have a website, that's okay, because you can go through your sponsor's website, build it to your liking (making it unique to you) and join affiliates that way. Either way, you can make money. PMS offers multiple avenues to affiliate marketing programs, so you can learn to make money through one door with multiple exits of cash flow (downlines). Remember, you are not going to make millions overnight or even thousands in a week. You must stay focused, keep up to date with the latest advertising from the company you are affiliated with, keep your site well maintained, constant, and current. You can make money from home using affiliate marketing, but in the end it always adds up to how much effort you want to put in to make your dreams a success. A friend sent me this quote, I don't know who said it, but it made a lot of sense. "Success does not come every night or overnight, BUT, with consistence, success will come one night".
