Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 finally makes its way to retailers and digital distribution this week for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC along with a Nintendo DS version and a remake of the original Modern Warfare for the Wii.  There has been some controversy with the PC version of the game due to a premium price and the decision to deny gamers the ability to setup their own dedicated servers.  Despite this, expect Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to have huge sells as it is easily one of the most hyped and anticipated games of the Holiday 2009 shopping season. 

Other highlights of the week include Buzz! Quiz World (PS3) and the downloadable time manipulating title Braid (PS3).  The kid-friendly titles worth checking out are Hasbro Family Game Night (Xbox 360) and Harvest Moon: Animal Parade (Wii).  Games to avoid include TMNT: Arcade Attack and Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus.
