The holiday game releases kick off in full swing this week as there are a number of titles vying for your dollar.  However, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Assassin's Creed 2, and Left 4 Dead 2 are probably the three big hitters across all of the gaming platforms. 

New Super Mario Bros Wii is Nintendo's premier game release of the year as Mario goes back to old school platforming but brings along Luigi and two Toad characters for up to 4-player competitive co-op play. 

Assassin's Creed 2 is the sequel to the hyped 2007 action-adventure game that sees you playing an assassin through various periods of time.  In this version, you are in Renaissance Italy trying to avenge your family.

The Left 4 Dead 2 boycott was eventually disbanded and will good reason.  With four times the pre-orders as the version that was released only last year, version 2 of the Zombie Apocalypse promises more action as you and three of your friends battle for survival.

Other highlights of the week include Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues, The God of War Collection, NCAA Basketball 10, EA Active, and LittleBigPlanet for the PSP.
