House of Hendrix is in the House

The prefect additional to Adam’s Morgan, Capitol Hemp, selling clothing and accessories for women and men made from natural, industrial hemp.  Who knew everything could be made from hemp? Capitol Hemp sells soaps, lotions, paper, non-dairy milk, cooking oil, and shoes all made from hemp. The store carries brands such as, Livity, Two Jupiters, Ecolution, The Hempest, Hemp Hoodlum, Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps and the Hemp Sisters. Even, their shelves to display the hemp clothing are made from hemp, Capitol Hemp is the first store in America to use renewable non-toxic hemp fiber board to construct in-store displays.

In addition to buying cute, light weight, summer dresses and super-soft jeans made from hemp, you can head to the back of the store, where you must be 18 and over to enter to see the beautiful display of hand blown glass tobacco pipes and vaporizers.

And no, hemp is not marijuana and it is legal to sell in the US.

 Hours? Closed Mondays. Open Tuesday to -Thursday. 12- noon to 9pm, Friday & Saturday 12- noon - to 10 pm, Sunday open at 1pm and close at 7pm
