Looking for something fun to do with food with your kids this holiday season? Here are a few fun and simple ideas that are easy enough for kids and Thanksgiving themed.

The first turkey cupcakes. Start with a chocolate frosted cupcake. You can use candy corn to make the tail feathers, one or two rows. Then use small round or oval shortbread cookies for wings and the turkey's head. Add a piece of fruit leather for the turkey's wattle and some black decorator icing to add eyes.

Another turkey cupcake recipe. Start again with a chocolate cupcake. This time use strips of various fruit leather colors as the tail feathers and wattle, and use a Nutter Butter cookie, fruit leather, and decorator icing for the head and face.

Fun turkey cookies can be made using candy corn as the tail, attached with decorator icing, mini-M&M's for eyes, and decorator icing for the beak and feet. Very easy! Let the littlest ones help attach the candy corn and the older kids can help draw on the beak and legs.

Oreo turkeys are easy if you take an oreo cookie and cut it open, making sure to leave filling on both sides. Yet another use for candy corn with this turkey's tail feathers. A hershey's kiss and decorator icing eyes make the face.

Have some food fun with your kids using these ideas! Gobble, Gobble!
