Most Americans spend the day after Thanksgiving bemoaning the fact they ate too much.... or, they spend the day visiting with family, watching College football and enjoying left overs.

I indulged in these activities yesterday, and enjoyed them all. Turkey Soup, sandwiches, scalloped potatoes and Thanksgiving pie... sounds pretty good doesn't it?

117 Roanokers ate lunch at RAM yesterday and enjoyed the above menu. I will admit, I was surprised there were so many needing the meal. Didn't they have friends or family who invited them over for Thanksgiving? 'Probably not. Didn't they eat enough pecan pie on Thursday? No, they didn't.

Even a Holiday based on thankfulness presupposes that our needs have been met and this year, that is not a guarantee.

I hope that you enjoyed your delicious Thanksgiving meal, and gave thanks for each and every bite.
