Today, Dr. Harold Freeman is the President and Founder of The Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention in New York City. It is a community based center for the prevention,diagnosis and treatment of cancer. They are committed in making cancer screening and treatment available to everyone. The Center is the product of a generous gift from the Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation which is also a partnership between Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and North General Hospital. It is located in East Harlem,New York where the peaceful ambiance of the place was created by Polo Ralph Lauren designers.
The Polo Ralph Lauren Foundation was created for the purpose of providing charitable donations to various philanthropic programs.
