Homeowners may very well see their landscapes in new way as the nation embraces “green” , sustainable ecosystems. GEOTEA, introduced by Greater Earth Organics, LLC, a Chilton WI company is an all natural product used to fertilize plants.

Also known as “compost tea”, this liquid emulsion restores the natural ecosystem of the plant. By introducing microbes into the soil, the soil food web is restored to it’s healthy state.

GEOTEA and it’s component parts, create a kind of giant tea pot. The Extractor Domeâ fits into a 250 gallon cubical plastic container, and is then hooked up by stainless steel tubing to a high-efficiency pump. The container is filled with water and the Extractor Dome is filled with compost. Air is then pumped through steel tubing to create agitation in the compost that disperses the microbes into the water.
This liquid emulsion can be used on all forms of landscape and garden plants as it is completely safe. Unlike common fertilizers that require mixing and measuring to secure safe results, there is no measuring to be sure the dosage is correct.

The GEOTEA system has produced an easy to use machine that produces compost tea. Don’t be surprised if your landscape professional says “your yard could use a good dose of GEOTEA.”
