Sports Illustrated reports that Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount was reinstated today. He will be able to play in this Saturday’s game against Arizona State.
Blount was suspended when he punched a Boise State player at the end of the game. Since the incident Blount has been working with the university to fix his behavioral problem and has shown great progress.
The timing of this is crucial not only for Oregon football but for Blount. He’s been giving a second chance after proving he’s made progress off the field.
