Fedor vs Rogers, both looked terrible. (photo ap)
Fedor vs Rogers lived up to the hype, and allowed Fedor to prove he is the best fat, out of shape, old heavyweight MMA fighter in the History of the World, and proved nothing to Brock Lesnar, except it would be an easy payday to crush this guy with the "mighty thunder hammers". If you watched the fight you saw 2 out of shape guys, get completely exhausted in the first round and then the Russian throw a horrible, sloopy, crazy right hand that knocked Rogers down, but not Out. The Referee, who was being paid by Strikeforce to make sure Fedor got special treatment gave him the fight.Rogers was not out, and should have been allowed to continue.
Rogers broke Fedor's nose on his first jab and made him look old, weak and tired. Fedor could do Nothing to Rogers on the ground, and this is a man with NO ground game. But Fedor did nothing on the ground and actually wound up being beaten on the ground. If Rogers knew anything at all about ground fighting he would have won, but he knows even less than Kimbo and still was able to dominate on the ground. Kimbo could easily beat Fedor in a stand up fight.
Now for all you Fedor lovers, please accept my apologies. I was wrong picking Rogers, he did not follow my 5 reasons Fedor will lose and so Rogers lost. If he would have had faith in his jab and right hand, he would have won, but he got scared, careless and lost. But Fedor did Not prove anything to real MMA fans with this fight. He did not prove he could beat Brock Lesnar, Frank Mir or dozens of other top UFC heavyweights. All he proved is he could throw a lucky punch against someone who is Not a real MMA figther and never will be. I was wrong, but that still makes my record 90% and your's 10.
