As members and families of the military, we are extra proud and emotional when Veterans Day rolls around every November. This year more than most, our thoughts are with the military after the horrific shootings at Fort Hood.

While most cities held their parade's this past weekend, there are still plenty of events going on in the Tampa area tomorrow in honor of this special day.
 

MOSI is offering $5 admission on Wednesday November 11, to all active and retired military, as well as police officers, fire fighters, and EMT's.  Lowry Park Zoo is offering free admission to all military personnel and up to three dependents.  This is a huge savings for a family of four.

The Fox 13 Care Force is accepting donated items to help out veterans in need.  Items can be dropped off on Wednesday, November 11th  from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.  Click here for a complete listing of items that are being collected. 

Enjoy your Veterans Day and always remember the men and women that this day honors.  As family members and spouses, we understand, and are proud of, the sacrifices that the military makes every day.  God Bless America.
