The San Diego Zoo is located at 2920 Zoo Drive in Balboa Park just north of downtown San Diego. In addition to the Zoo, Balboa Park has more than twenty museums, gardens and the award-winning Old Globe Theater.

The single day admission price is $35 for adults and $26 for children. Tickets are available online through the Zoo's Ticket page. Zoo tickets may also be purchased through travel websites and agents as a part of San Diego vacation package deals. Active duty military personnel receive free admission with a valid military ID. Military spouses and dependents receive a 10% discount on Best Value tickets.
Zoo Membership is a cost-effective option for anyone who plans to visit the Zoo or Wild Animal Park more than twice a year. Members receive a year of unlimited visits to the Zoo and the Wild Animal Park. Dual membership is currently $84 per year, while single membership is $65. Diamond membership is $134 and includes free parking at the Wild Animal Park (regularly $6 per visit). The Koala Club is $28 per child ages 3 to 11 and $32 per child ages 12 to 17. The Zoo also offers student and senior memberships. Please note that there are different prices for those who live outside the 90000 to 92999 zip codes.
