
The Orlando Food and Wine Festival is in it's second year now, and has added even more food, wine, music, and fun. The festival is a two day long extravaganza of our city's finest food, wine, and music. If samplings from over 35 different restaurants and over 18 wine companies doesn't grab you there will be nine bands performing throughout the weekend including the headliners: "Average White Band." Rhythm and Blues, Funk, Blues, Cover Bands, Jazz, Island, Rock, and even Latin Rock performers are also performing at this event to benefit Children's Home Society of Florida.
If you are looking for inexpensive date ideas the Orlando Food and Wine Festival is a great choice for you. The festival runs from Saturday November 14th through Sunday November 15th and is located on Robinson street in downtown Orlando along Lake Eola. The event will run from 12:00pm to 9:00pm on Saturday and 12:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday.
The ticket price is only $10/person for one day or $15/person for both days. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.orlandofoodandwinefestival.com .This includes admission to the event and access to all of the bands and culinary demonstrations. The ticket price does not include food or drinks but at only $2-$6 per item, you can sample some of the most gourmet meals around town for a fraction of a fraction of the original price. Also please be aware that you must purchase food and drink tickets to buy the sampling dishes and wines. These tickets can be purchased in $2 increments at any of the assigned tents throughout the venue.
