While children who are tweens have plenty to do during the Halloween season, younger children may feel left out. Here are a couple of wonderful activities that allow even infants and toddlers to participate!
Rich's Farms, which is just across the WV / PA border, has children's day every day of October. For one small entrance fee, you can take pictures of children in pumpkin patches, let them set on a huge pumpkin, play on huge barrels of hay, paint pumpkins, take a hayride, and much more. This is a great way to capture some beautiful pictures as well. There is even a small petting zoo. This trip will be fun for infants up to about six years of age.

Deep in the woods of Fairmont, WV, you will find Agony Acres. This is a wonderful haunted trail that can terrify adults, but children will have a blast. They put glow necklaces on children who are too you to be scared. When the actors see families coming through with glow bracelets they step out of their hiding places and talk to and shake hands with the children. Kids walk away feeling confident and proud of themselves for making it through Agony Acres.
